- Quarterly IUCRC Community Meetings serve as a virtual forum for the IUCRC community to come together, share best-practices, and ultimately strengthen the program and Centers. We know that this type of peer-to-peer learning has been successful in the past and we want to continue to leverage the collective wisdom of our community through these virtual gatherings. Each quarter, we will host a 1-hour virtual session featuring 2-3 Center personnel in an informal, panel-type Q&A format that focuses on a specific topic(s) of broad interest to the community.
- Center Evaluation: VentureWell assigns and manages the evaluators for the IUCRC Program. Each center is assigned an evaluator that both evaluates the center and provides best practices.
- Program Level Data Collection: In 2021 VentureWell took on the responsibility of collecting data for the center director’s reports and also the process outcomes.
- Project Feedback: For many years the use of the LIFE System was a requirement. In 2020 NSF changed that requirement. Centers still need to collect project feedback from the IAB. However, each center is free to use whatever tool they like. In support of this effort VentureWell has built a template for Airtable. If you would like to learn more about Airtable click HERE.
- IUCRC Bootcamps: Each potential center goes through a planning phase. When they are in the planning phase they go through a bootcamp that is focused on member discovery. VentureWel has managed the last seven iterations of that bootcamp.
